Canepa is seeking a highly skilled Tire Technician at the Journeyman or Master level, with extensive experience in tire, wheel, and alignment services, and a solid background in general automotive repair. This position requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex tire-related issues and other essential vehicle components. The ideal candidate must be quality-minded, hardworking, and dedicated to providing the highest level of workmanship in the industry. We are seeking a person who is highly professional, who can work individually, as well as part of a multifunctional team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Mounting and dismounting automotive tires

·        Balancing and force matching wheel and tire assemblies

·        Removing and installing wheels on vehicles

·        Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires

·        Diagnose and repair tire vibration issues and wheel imbalances

·        Calibrating TPMS

·        Diagnose and correct chassis pull and steering wheel alignment issues

·        Perform chassis corner weight balance

·        Remove and replace shock absorber and anti-sway bar assemblies

·        Replace brake pads, rotors, and bleed brakes

·        Participate in training and follow safety procedures

·        Diagnose and repair common mechanical issues (engine, transmission, and electrical components)

·        Perform regular maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations

Qualifications:

·        Journeyman/Master-level experience in tire and wheel systems, chassis suspension and alignment

·        3+ years in tire service, chassis alignment and shock/brake systems

• 5+ years as an Automotive Technician

·        Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials

·        Capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles

·        Experience working with performance vehicles and advanced automotive systems

·        Strong diagnostic skills and ability to resolve complex automotive issues

·        Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed

·        Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or driving) for up to nine hours per shift

·        Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds
